Angela & Chad

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

Congratulations, Angela & Chad, and thank you for letting us be part of your day at Cedarvine Manor.  I actually had the opportunity to work with Angela & Chad twice at Cedarvine Manor - once for their engagement session and again on their wedding day in May.  With it’s diverse and relaxing surroundings, we had an incredible location in which to produce a  collection of images that really conveyed how Angela & Chad click with each other.  They’re both some of the most relaxed people and that is a HUGE asset on wedding day!  For a short time on wedding day, rain clouds were over-head (and actually raining on us coming from Franklin), but closer to wedding time, the sun popped out and everything was good-to-go for the remainder of the day.  The wedding took place in the outside garden which could not have been more perfect of a setting for a wedding and the floral arrangements accenting the fountains were simply gorgeous.  After the ceremony, we had a short photo session which included producing an image that included everyone present for the event.  A big thank you goes out to everyone for coming together so easily for the photo and with our having access to an elevated platform, the shot worked great!  Feel free to drop us a note using the comment link below the bottom pic!

Jennifer & Amos

Sunday, May 7th, 2006

Congratulations to Jennifer & Amos who were married this May at Scarritt Bennett’s Wightman Chapel.  We had a great time working the day with several of our friends:  Gail Vandygriff was the wedding coordinator and Gipsy Williams with Premier Video was the videographer.  Knowing the other professionals that you’ll be working with on the wedding day is such a benefit for a wedding day because you are each familiar with what the others need to accomplish, so the day flows so much better and the experience for the bride & groom is even better.  After a wonderful ceremony at Scarritt, Jennifer and Amos made their exit through lines of guests and were whisked away by one cool car - an English taxi supplied by Matchless Limo.  The reception destination was Convent Place just up from Vanderbilt.  For the rest of the night, guests dined and danced the night away.
