Alyssa & Quin - Wedding

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

Well, no sooner do we have a wonderful time at Kira & Brad’s wedding, and the very next weekend we’re photographing the wedding of their good friends Alyssa & Quin.  Like the minister said, Vanderbilt Medical Center better not have any huge emergencies because the church had so many of Vanderbilt’s finest medical people attending the wedding.  Alyssa & Quin’s ceremony was held at Downtown Presbyterian Church in the heart of Nashville on Saturday and the weather was every bride’s dream and that allowed us to produce many of our images outside in the downtown atmosphere.  As is popular today, we completed all the formal photos before the ceremony which allowed Alyssa & Quin the luxury of jumping right into their limo after the ceremony and heading toward their reception location which was Cheekwood in Belle Meade.  Guests continued to appreciate the wonderful weather by taking advantage of the sunset view from the veranda outside Massey Hall.  Congratulations to Alyssa & Quin!

Kira & Brad - Wedding

Friday, April 20th, 2007

Mark this one down as another “second in the family” for us!  We just love it when we have the great opportunity to work weddings for mulitple children in the same family.  This was the second time we’ve worked with Brad’s family.  The first wedding was when we covered Suzanne & Brian’s wedding in Kentucky and we absolutely fell in love with the entire family, so when it came time for Brad to marry Kira, we were like “wooohoooo!!”, and this last weekend proved to be awesome.  Not only did we get to reunite with Brad’s family, but we also met Kira’s famiy who were just wonderful!  The ceremony was held at Woodmont Christian Church - you know - the one with the TALL white steeple on Hillsboro Rd.  It’s always great to work there and if weather’s bad, there’s no fear because you can navigate the entire building without having to go outside.  Because we wrapped up ALL the formal photos prior to the ceremony, Kira, Brad, and the entire bridal party were carried away in two stretched limos (Matchless Limo) for a scenic drive to the reception which was at Gaylord Spring House where guests had a great time visiting and dancing to the music of the Nashville Blue Tones.  What an incredible wedding and we were so thankful to have worked with Brad’s family again and to have met everyone on Kira’s side.  Congratulations again to everyone!

Judson’s 4 Week Session

Friday, April 20th, 2007

Welcome to the world, Judson!  He was only introduced 4 weeks ago, and he’s already becoming a star.  Judson is the son of some great wedding clients of ours - Amanda & Shane, so we were thrilled to continue providing them with images for their family collection.  Judson arrived all snugged up in his car seat, sailed through the session like he was a pro, and left all snugged up and zonked out in his car seat just like he arrived.  Life is tough when you’re a star!  Congratulations to Amanda & Shane on the new addition to their family!

Holly & Jeremy - Engagement

Thursday, April 19th, 2007

A big thanks to Holly & Jeremy who braved the super cool temps we had a couple weeks ago.  We had a great time walking around downtown and by the time we covered a few locations, it had turned out to be a beautiful day for shooting.  Now, if we can only arrange such a beautiful day for their wedding coming up in a couple months.  Throughout the entire shoot, both Holly and Jeremy were great at pulling off different looks.  One minute they were the cozy couple in love and the next moment they were giving me a commercial fashion look which was awesome.  We were able to capture all sides of them and some great images of them laughing and everyone enjoys “laughing” photos.  Great going guys!!!
