THE wedding to attend this weekend was definitely that of Kristin & Ed and it was indeed well-attended by friends and family from the local area as well as from around the country. To make it even a more pleasurable experience for their out-of-town guests, Kristin & Ed utilized transportation options including luxury motor coaches to shuttle their guests to the various locations. In addition to the motor coaches, more specialty vehicles from Matchless Limousine were also used and that provided Kristin & Ed a dream get-away in a vintage Jaguar while the bridal party rode in style in Matchless’ luxury executive coach. With Kristin & Ed being from the D.C. area, much of the planning was done long-distance, so we did not had the opportunity to meet Kristin & Ed until wedding day, but once the introductions were made things rolled along like we were old friends. The ceremony was scheduled for 6:00 at Vine Street Christian Church on West End, so we allowed for guest-seating time and then backed up the schedule in order to accomplish all formal photographs prior to the ceremony. A major thank you to the bridal party and family members who were all on top of things and right on time. We cannot express how thankful we are for that because it makes everything go so smoothly during formal portraits on a wedding day. When guests arrived, they were presented with the most beautiful array of floral arrangements combined with a glowing display of pillar candles around the altar area. After Kristin & Ed were pronounced husband & wife, the guests poured out of the church to share congratulations as they boarded their coaches. We took a brief minute to make a few special images with the vintage Jag which will make a great addition to Kristin & Ed’s album. Everyone was then off to the reception which was held at The Hermitage Hotel downtown Nashville where they were in awe of the decor of the hotel combined with the extraordinary decor provided by The Tulip Tree. The elegant combination of glass, flowers, and candles provided guests with visual candy as they admired the main ballroom and veranda. With guests dining in the ballroom and veranda, Kristin & Ed toured the rooms greeting their guests and then dined separate courses in each room to which allowed them the opportunity to interact with all their special friends and family. Once the dining and dessert were over, the celebration was raised a notch as the combination of live and recorded music filled the ballroom with music that kept guests energized on their feet. Live music was provided by our good friends at Blue Tone Music and the recorded music was provided by none other than JD Music who kept the energy going by pumping out the 80’s dance music that everyone loved. For the remainder of the evening, guests were free to enjoy the ballroom celebration as well as the luxurious lobby area that was popular for visiting with friends and family. We would like to again thank Kristin, Ed, and all their friends and family who all made it a wonderful wedding day and allowed us to create a set of images that will be cherished in a custom album forever. Congratulations, Kristin & Ed!
