Lori & Chris - Engagement

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

A great evening spent with great people!  With the wedding of Lori & Chris coming up in the near future, it was time for an engagement photo session and with the hot and humid conditions recently, we selected to do the session in the comfort of the studio.  A couple hours and a LOT of laughs later, we wrapped it up with a great collection of images.  Soon, we’ll be doing the bridal session for Lori and I can’t wait.  Thanks for the great evening, Lori & Chris!

Ashley & Matt - Wedding

Saturday, July 7th, 2007

With all the excitement about 7/7/07 being a lucky day for weddings, it certainly was for us because we had the great opportunity to work with Ashley, Matt, and all their family and friends, so our luck was riding high with such a great wedding to photograph on 7/7.  The wedding took place in this cool chapel located in White House where everything was in close proximity which made logistics exceptionally easy.  The day tossed us a bit of heat so working outside was kept to a short time, but everyone sailed through it in great spirit and there was no hesitation to dash inside now and again to soak up a little cool air.  With Ashley & Matt selecting to complete all their photos prior to the ceremony, we were able to go directly to their reception where they immediately begain greeting and celebrating with guests.  We thoroughly enjoyed the entire day and we got along SO well with Ashley & Matt.  We both prefer a relaxed approach to photography, so we were a perfect match.  Congratulations, and thanks for letting us share the big 7/7/07 with you!

Scarlett and her friend Emily

Thursday, July 5th, 2007

Today, we had the pleasure of meeting Scarlett who has been out in the world about 90 days or so.  In that time, she’s become good friends with Emily - her multi-colored noise-making toy doll - and during todays shoot… Emily also became our friend as she offered great assistance in the “get Scarlett’s attention” department.  This was Scarlett’s first session as part of a series where we will capture her first year when changes come so quickly.  At the end of the series, we’ll build a beautiful album that will serve as a long-term keepsake for her parents - Shannon & Kevin whose wedding we photographed several years ago.  Thanks for spending part of your day with us, Everyone!
