Their date is coming up soon and Ashley & Matt are definitely ready! Before our shoot yesterday, we had not met and only communicated by email during the planning stages, so it was great to meet Ashley & Matt… and Ashley’s mom too! We had a great time during our session and as always…. there aren’t too many serious moments with me, so we all had a humorous time. Not long now and we’ll be shooting again really soon on wedding day!

While it’s common (sometimes required) for seniors to have their yearbook tux or drape photo produced at the school by the school’s photographer, it’s not a requirement for you to use the same photographer for your other more creative Senior Portraits. John and Jennifer are a wonderful couple whose wedding we covered a few years ago and we’ve recently been covering the new life of Brooke (you’ve seen her here on the blog). Well…. being that this was Jennifer’s first Mother’s Day, it no doubt was going to memorable - and John certainly added the icing to the cake on that one by presenting Jennifer with a very cool baby panel produced by Image One. We took some of their favorite images and designed a single print that was a very cool 40 inches wide. With all the images in black & white, we framed it with a classic black frame and the entire piece is definitely going to be something that always brings raves from viewers.
Ok, new rule. All future portrait subjects now have to go through the School of DDMM (Dee, Dan, Michael, Matthew) where DDMM will share tips on how THEY were the perfect subject for a portrait shoot. You guys are awesome! What a smooth shoot it was today and we were able to wrap it all up before the thunder rolled in.
